	Al Sandoval Scholarship Contest Application and Contest Rules	Al Sandoval Memorial College Scholarships for the children of Local 1245 members are offered through a competitive essay-writing contest each year. 	Trade & Vocational Grant Application and Rules	Trade & Vocational School Grants for the children of Local 1245 members are offered each year in a random drawing among all eligible applicants. Application are printed each year in the January edition of the Local 1245 Utility Reporter. Click on the PDF icon to download the Rules and an Application Form for the most recent year.
IBEW		IBEW Founders Scholarships worth up to $24,000 are available from the IBEW head office to IBEW members wanting to pursue a college education.(www.ibew.org/library/scholarshipfounders.htm)
CALIFORNIA LABOR FEDERATION		California Labor Federation college scholarships are offered to all graduating high school students in California, on a competitive basis. The children of IBEW Local 1245 members are encouraged to apply. (www.calaborfed.org/Scholarship.htm)
	Nevada AFL-CIO Scholarship Application	Nevada AFL-CIO scholarships are available on a competitive basis to the children of union members in Nevada (including Local 1245) each year. 		In addition to the scholarships offered directly through Local 1245, the Union Plus Scholarship Program offers scholarships to union members, their spouses and dependent children. Since 1992, the program has awarded more than $2.4 million in scholarship assistance. For application information, select the link at left.
