Accident at work?

If you become aware of a safety incident at work that had a potential for injury, we ask that you Email the Safety Committee about the incident, providing as much detail as you can. Please leave a phone number where a Safety Committee member can contact you.

Near-miss at work?

Please report it so that others can benefit from your experience. See the tab to the Near-Miss section, located on the main Safety Matters page on this website.

Injured on the job?

If are injured on the job, you should:

You also may be entitled to temporary or permanent disability benefits or vocational rehabilitation benefits. If you file a claim for benefits and it is rejected, you may appeal the ruling, even to the courts. Experts recommend seeking legal advice. Attorneys who have previously represented Local 1245 members in Workers Compensation cases include: Boxer & Gerson and Mastagni, Holstedt, & Amick.
