Outside Construction DISPATCH:

IBEW 1245 operates a Northern California and Northern Nevada Outside Line Dispatch Office for the normal construction labor market for work on electrical transmission lines and substations, and outside work in electrical utility distribution systems.  It includes pole construction work, steel or metal structures used for the purpose of carrying electrical wires, conductors, or equipment, street light systems, electrical underground construction work and trolley work.  Lineco provides health and Welfare and the Pension is administrated by NEAP/NEBF. Rate of pay: Journeyman Lineman $41.02 per hour. Groundman $25.42 per hour. Foreman $45.12 per hour.  General Foreman $49.24 per hour.  Journeyman Lineman pension $6.03 per hour. Groundman Pension $5.25 per hour. NEBF is at the 3% contribution rate.  All overtime is paid at the double-time rate. Subsistence is $40.00 a day, until Jan. 1, 2008.

Hours of operation: M-F 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Closed 12-1. Dispatch hours 9 am - 12 noon.
