Dear Mr. Rawles:
I’m a PG&E retiree - 1993 GC Auburn Office - IBEW
retiree member also. I now reside in Idaho. I recently
read online about the meeting coming up on 1/18/08 [between the leaders of the
various Retiree Club chapters].
First of all, thank you for working so hard to
get our insurance benefits extended. My wife and I truly appreciate every
effort that was made. One thing that concerns me is the increase in the
cost of living. As a retiree yourself I’m sure you understand how hard it
is to make ends meet. We’ve had one small increase since I retired.
It would be really nice if PG&E would
initiate a pay increase for the retirees. PG&E sure gives huge
pay raises to their CEO’s - how about the retirees? We worked hard to
make the company what it is today.
Thank you for your consideration regarding
this matter.
Sincerely,
BJ Pierson
