Democratic participation

At IBEW Local 1245, the members have the power. They elect from among themselves the union’s Business Manager, Officers, Executive Board members, Advisory Council members, and Unit Officers. More than 100 local unit meetings each month give all members a chance to participate. Local 1245 members submit contract proposals, serve on bargaining committees, and vote by secret ballot on negotiated contracts. Fly on over to your next unit meeting and find out what's happening!
