In conjunction with the new SAP business systems, the Co. proposes to eliminate dual classification positions. Each hdqrs. with a dual classification position may reclassify the position and incumbent ee. to the primary (first listed) classification, provided that the incumbent has worked at least 50% of the time in the primary classification during the past 6 mos. or they may be reclassified into one of the new or existing combined classifications. This letter is intended to delete all sections of the Clerical and Physical Agmts. dealing with dual classification positions. See also 103.10, 103.11, 111.9, 112.11, 112.12, 204.2, 205.19, 206.12 and 208.21 plus Clerical 7.11, 7.12, 8.9, 13.10, 14.10, 14.11, 18.17, 19.12 and 19.17. |

Due to changes in PG&E's business and an evolution of electric meter work, all current Electric Meter Crew Leaders will be reclassified as Provisional Metering Technician Crew Leaders effective 1/1/96 and will remain as "provisional" until ees. complete required training and testing and all current Sr. Meterpersons will be reclassified as Provisional Metering Systems Technicians effective 1/1/96 and will remain as "provisional until ees. complete required training and testing. All current Apprentice Meterpersons will progress through their apprenticeship training and upon reaching "Unassigned" status will be reclassified to Provisional Metering Systems Technicians. All ees. given provisional status failed to complete the requirements of the training program within 3 years will be reclassified to their former classification as "present incumbent only."
